Fused glass suncatcher class. Supplies Provided: small pieces of colored glass (frit), stencils and a 3" x 3" inch clear base. A guided process and education on stained glass VS Fused Glass. Students will use stencils to trace designs on a base and glue the bits of glass to the base. After they are done, I bring their labeled projects home and fire them in my kiln. I return the projects within a week. Ages 15+

Join one of our staff for a mosaic experience! Mosaic can be applied to just about any smooth and sturdy, non-porous surface! We have a selection of glass trivets, coasters, pottery and some other fun finds! We will discuss technique and a bit of history as we craft together and create our own individual designs! This craft will be broken up into sections that are conclusive on their own, or bring your project back and add to it each week! In this first class, we will use our hour to lay out our mosaic design and glue it on to our surface. From here you can consider your project finished or you can come back during the next mosaic 101 class to grout it! Mosaic 101 classes will run every Monday night for the month of April.
